This silicone layer then acts as a release agent to release the bond that is currently there, so the adhesive falls away from the skin without any trauma. The silicone then evaporates in seconds, without leaving any film or coating, and a new appliance can be applied (if required) without first needing to clean the skin.

Yes, all liquid silicones used by manufacturers with products in the No Sting category are flammable. The ESENTA™ Sting Free Skin Barrier and Adhesive Remover formulation has a long history of safe use and will only combust if safety instructions are ignored or the product is misused. The accompanying labelling and Instructions-For-Use provide warnings and cautions.
Reapplication is recommended every 12-72 hours, dependent upon skin surface conditions. Safe and effective even with frequent use. Should be replaced at every dressing or appliance change to maintain complete protection.
ESENTA™ Lubricating Deodorant is a dual-action product that can be used for odour control and lubrication. However, if a person is only concerned about stool odour, the added benefit of lubricity should not cause issues, and vice versa.

ESENTA™ Lubricating Deodorant is water-based, made with natural ingredient, and has no added colourant. The IFU states it is safe on clothes and the environmen, however, testing has not been done to confirm absolutely that it will not stain clothes, floors, and furniture. Please note, after 15 years in market there have been no complaints regarding staining filed with the manufacturer.
